The DPSS real estate team, led by partners Rutherford Seydel and Josh Marks, quarterbacked the sale this summer of Bluestem Ranch, a 43,000-acre bison and sporting ranch in Oklahoma owned by clients Bluestem, LLC and Marquis, LLC to the Osage Nation. The Osage celebrated the acquisition with a ceremony August 24th at Bluestem that attracted over 500 guests and featured speakers, including Geoffrey Standing Bear, Osage Nation Chief, and Taylor Glover, CEO of Turner Enterprises. The Osage have pledged to sustainably manage the property through a mix of ranching and conservation for the benefit of future generations. Josh represented DPSS at the ceremony and remarked that it was truly one of the most inspiring and gratifying real estate transactions with which he has ever been associated.
