The 12-game tournament will take place Thanksgiving weekend, Nov. 23-27, at the Imperial Arena. The entire tournament will be televised LIVE on VERSUS and the all high-definition, HDNet. VERSUS will air coverage each day of the tournament at 2 p.m. ET and 4:30 p.m. ET as well as the championship game on Nov. 26 at 4:30 p.m. ET. HDNet will broadcast the daily 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. games beginning Nov. 24.</p><p>“Battle 4 Atlantis will be the richest pre-season college basketball tournament of it’s kind, and it is taking place at one of the most beautiful destinations in the world,” says George Markantonis, President &amp; Managing Director, Kerzner International Bahamas. “We are thrilled to host some of the leading teams in college basketball this year, including the 2011 national champions! This event is something our guests and college basketball fans around the nation will love. There simply isn’t a better way to celebrate a Thanksgiving holiday.”</p><p>DPSS assisted Atlantis in organizing and planning the tournament, including compliance with NCAA bylaws. The firm also represented Atlantis in securing a multi-year, multi-network television deal, sponsorships and contracts with participating teams.</p><p>The teams participating in the inaugural tournament include the defending national champion University of Connecticut Huskies, Florida State University, Harvard University, University of Massachusetts, College of Charleston, University of Central Florida, UNC-Asheville and University of Utah<br
